Jeffery Hissem
Jeffrey Hissem retired after a 31-year career in leadership and operations management with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. As Bureau Chief of Business Services, he led organizational improvements, real estate consolidation projects, and technology modernization initiatives that increased efficiency and reduced costs.
Jeffrey holds a Master’s Degree in Architecture from The Ohio State University and a degree in Economics from the University of Cincinnati. In addition to his public sector leadership, he has long been active in civic engagement and community preservation, serving as a Trustee of the Short North Neighborhood Foundation and for 27 years as a Victorian Village Commissioner.
A passionate advocate for the arts and community development, Jeffrey is honored to support Short North Stage’s mission of artistic excellence and neighborhood engagement. Jeffrey resides in Italian Village and is proud to be part of the Short North Stage community.
