Nicole Sterling
Nicole Sterling is an Assistant Vice President with CCS Fundraising—the largest fundraising consulting firm in the world—working with local and national non-profit clients in every sector to create transformational change. Prior to joining CCS, Nicole held development leadership roles with the Sacramento Theatre Company and the Utah Shakespeare Festival.
Nicole’s passion for the arts began at a young age, and she spent her early career as a professional director, choreographer, actor, and arts educator. During this time, she worked at The Kennedy Center, The Goodman Theatre, Stages St. Louis, Sacramento Music Circus, Columbus Children’s Theatre, The Contemporary Theatre of Ohio, and others, alongside theatrical giants like Stephen Sondheim, Hal Prince, Stephen Flaherty, Stephen Schwartz, and many others.
Nicole holds a B.S. in Communication and a Music Theatre Certificate from Northwestern University and an M.A. in Arts Policy and Administration from The Ohio State University. When she’s not out in the community supporting the arts, you can find her spending time with her rescue dog Boomer, cooking, or cycling.
